You are generally eligible to proceed with a telemedicine renewal if there has been no change in your health status since your last Civil Aviation Medical Examination.

Telemedicine renewals can be done every other year, with the expectation that clients revert back to an in-person assessment in intervening years -
Telemedicine renewals do not require an ECG or urine testing, and are valid for 1 year. While a client should optimally be in Ontario at the time of the virtual assessment, there may be exceptions – please enquire if you expect to be in another province or Territory at the time of the assessment.
Fees - $230.00 for all aviation medical categories (in-person or telemedicine).
This fee includes the clinical assessment and completion and submission of the initial 4-page Medical Examination Report (MER) to Transport Canada, as well as the receipt and processing of required in-office investigations (urinalysis, ECG when required, and audiogram results).
Costs incurred for lab work, ECGs, or audiograms performed outside the clinic are the client’s responsibility.
Additional documentation after the exam (effective January 1, 2026)
While less common, Transport Canada may request additional medical documentation after an appointment. Requests to copy or forward additional medical documents after the exam are considered uninsured administrative services and are billed separately.

· 21–50 pages: $55
· 51–100 pages: $90
· Larger submissions are billed based on total volume, with an estimate provided in advance.
